Fresh from the UK: RIMMEL LONDON Apocalips Lip Laquers

Hi everyone:
After not being home for about a week, today I finally decided to check my mailbox here. And look what I have found here, my package from my cousin in the UK. Long story short, I have heard so many good things about the Rimmel Apocolips, and I saw Boots was doing a promotion on all Rimmel products, like buy 2 and get the 3rd one for free. I was trilled. So here is a picture of the products:
After hearing so many good things about it, I finally decided to get my cousin to get a few of them. Here is another picture of the lip lacquer.
I will post a picture of me wearing it later on when I have a chance.

Urban Decay Oz: the Great and Powerful Glinda set

Hey guys:
It's been a while since my last post. I had a few assignments due the past week. I'm back with another Urban Decay product, the newest member to my Urban Decay palette family: Oz: the Great and Powerful in Glinda. Here is a picture of an overview of the product:

In the package, it comes with an instruction card, a Super-Saturated High Gloss lip color in Glinda and the 6-panned eyeshadow palette. This is retailed at Sephora for $58. Here are some detailed pictures of the set.

As you can see from the picture above, this is a very unique designed palette, There are actually 6 shadow pan in the palette, but two of them are duo-shades. From top to bottom, left to right: Tornado, Aura (duo-shade), Magic, Illusion, Oz (duo-shade), South.
Also if you have noticed, I have already started to use the palette since Day 1. I used South with Tornado and it was very pretty and magical. I am also thinking maybe to use Illusion with Magic when the weather gets warmer.

I have never used this yet. But it looks like a mauve nude color, great for spring.

Urban Decay Naked Basic Palette

Hey guys:
I have heard so many good things about the Urban Decay Basics Palette. So right after Christmas I decide to get one. But unfortunately, while I was down in the U.S., they were running out of stock. I went back home that weekend, the Sephora in Upper Canada Mall didn't have it either. But one of the associates was nice enough to tell me that I could call the nearest location and reserve one, and when it is  available, they would give me a call. After almost a month of waiting, here is it.

There are six colors in the palette, five out of six are matte colors, and the one on the left Venus is a frosty color.
(From left to right:
Venus, Foxy, W.O.S [walk of shame], Naked 2, Faint, Crave)
I didn't think I liked matte color, but OMG, these eyeshadows are amazing. Here is a picture of me used naked 2 and faint on my eyelids.
They are supernatural and I'm really in love with this palette.
Now, I have the whole Naked palette family. =P

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation

Hey guys:
School has been crazy busy and I still haven't had time to review what I have posted in the sneak peeks. So I will stop doing sneak peeks until I am completely done all of the reviews. But after random browsing at SDM last week I realized that Rimmel London finally released the Wake Me Up Foundation. I was super excited so I grabbed one and tried it. It is amazing. Here are some pictures of the product.

It is described on the website as the following:
  • Wake Up & Glow! Rimmel’s first liquid foundation that instantly reawakens skin with a healthy, radiant glow
  • Light, moisturizing texture applies smoothly and leaves skin feeling soft and comfortable all day
  • Gives an instant flawless, natural-looking finish
  • Visible anti-fatigue effect with peptides and a Vitamin Moisturizing complex
Here is a comparison of some of the foundations that I have:

(Top to bottom: Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B20,
Shu Uemura Face Architect Foundation in 774,
Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation in 200 soft beige,
Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation in 220 Nude,
Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation in 200 Sand Beige)

Even though the color may seem to be much more orange than my regular foundations. But as soon as it is blended out, it is not that much a difference.
