All shades of GREEN

Hi everyone,
I woke up today and realized it's well into the summer, and my sensation of colour has changed. I looked around my room and realized that how many green coloured items I have. So here I decided to do a post just upon my recent purchase of shade of GREEN.
First of all, it's my Macbook, I've had this mint green clear case for it for about over four months now and I just love it. It's super lightweight and it fits my macbook perfect and protect it from all scratches and dents.

2. Beats by Dr. Dre Solo HD headphone in light teal
Here is my brand new Beats by Dr. Dre Solo HD headphone. One of my mom's colleague suggested me to stop using in-ear headphone since they do quite a lot of damage to your ear drums and your hearing. So I decided to invest some money on headphones and who doesn't love good quality music?? Also, it is super cute with this pure teal colour all over instead of the old one where the ear cover was either in black or grey colour. I've just had it for a few days, I'm really loving it. Also, this is perfect for my electronic piano which needs an output, I'll probably plug this in sometimes and use it for my piano too.

3. Formula X for Sephora nail colour in "Inspiring"

(from left to right: Inspiring, A Little Sexy, Wunderkind, Supernatural)
I oversaw this on Sephora website, but it was an instant sold out, I was sad I couldn't get my hand on it. But while I was in the store close to my home, I realized that they still had it, and OF COURSE, I had to get my hand on it. I grab two of them. The other one is called "A Little Sexy," it's the one right next to the teal colour, it's a really pretty pearly periwinkle colour. Both are great for summer!!!!

4. Insurgent by Veronica Roth

Surprise, surprise, I was the last one discover how wonderful this book series is....oh, well....I finished Divergent while I was travelling abroad in China, but I couldn't get my hand on a copy of Insurgent while I was in China somehow. Well, I asked a good friend of mine to grab me a copy, and I fell back in love with the story once again. It's a great book and I love it. The book is in a shade of green, since I'm doing the them of green colour items, I thought I would put this in.

5. Spigen SGP Ultra Hybrid for Samsung Galaxy S5 in mint

First of all, this is such a great case, it covers the back of my phone at the same time, it has a bumper all across the side of my phone so it protects my phone from dropping on the ground and scratch the side of my phone. It is retailed between $11.99-14.99 on Amazon.ca. It's a chic style for my phone and yet I can still access to my heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner.

Hope you all are having a great day,

Tom Ford Beauty

Hi everyone,
Today I went on a splurge to spend my $50 Gift Card @Holt Renfrew. Of course I had to spend it wisely!!!:P I decided to go to the Bloor Flagship Store in Toronto. I knew since last October or so, Holt Renfrew Bloor location starts to carry Tom Ford Beauty, which is owned by Estee Lauder Cosmetics. It is a brand that sells at a very expensive price, but the package and the products are super amazing. I have a few lipsticks from them when they were the only beauty items from Tom Ford at the time. I am super glad that we actually open our doors to this gorgeous brand. I was really there for the cheek colour, but then realized that they still have some of their Spring 2014 collection items available. I was reading blogs from the Raeviwer, the Beauty Look and temptalia.com and saw how amazing and fun their Spring nail colours were. So....I decided to grab one, even the price are incredibly expensive and not worth the price, but I have to say, it is worth for the packaging and the Tom Ford brand image. Here is an overview of what I got.

This is the item I was originally intend to get, this is the Tom Ford Beauty Cheek Color in Frantic Pink. I was trying to decide for the last few months which colour to get, I narrowed down to "Wicked", "Lovelust" and "Frantic Pink (the most recently decision)." After checking all of them out at temptalia.com, I was of course leaning toward "Frantic Pink." Then I saw them in store, I was absolutely more in love with "Frantic Pink." It is a coral-pink blush. It looks very pretty when I swatch it over on my hand. I have been really into the lighter shade of blush. I like how natural it looks like and how softly it is. The only downside of this blush is it is retailed for $60 CAD. But it is Tom Ford, you get what you paid for.

Then, my eye were caught on the Spring 2014 nail colours. One of them was "indiscretion". It is a really pretty deep fuchsia, in some lighting, it looks almost a bit neon, great summer colour though.

It is super cute for summer as I said, and I was so happy when I realized that they still had a few left over since it was released earlier this year. I'm still debating whether go back to grab "Coral Beach" or not since it is also super adorable, also at $35 CAD, you can get a few polishes for the price of this fancy one. I just also wanna showcase a few other of my Tom Ford Beauty Nail Lacquers. I think it's really neat to have the white cap of in the Spring collection, which also reminds of the original release of their lip colours. It was in the pure white casing.

In addition to the Tom Ford Beauty, I was lucky enough to score this beauty from eBay, and it was the limited edition eye colour quad from Fall 2012. It's called "Emerald Lust."

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush review

Hi everyone,
While I was away on vacation, Sephora had it's 20% VIB/VIB Rouge Sales. I had get my hands on a few things to test out with this great deal. So I grabbed the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush. My original intention was to get the "Dim Infusion" which was apparently sold out instantly since it's release. So I settled down for the "Ethereal Glow", it is described as a "cool pink."

I tried some many times to apply it over my skin, but I'm petty disappointed with the pigmentation of the "ethereal glow." I would work perfect for someone who has really pale skin or really dark skin. With someone like me with a NC20 in MAC or 20 Beige in Chanel. It doesn't really show any colour. I still decide to keep it I can just use it as a highlighter or illuminator.

Then I signed up for the email when it's back in stock with "Dim Infusion." Of course I decide to buy it, here is a comparison with the "ethereal glow." It is described on the Sephora website "subdued coral." Surprise, surprise, it actually shown some great colour on my skin, also I have really been into the coral colour lately. Here is a comparison of the two blushes.

Here I've stolen temptalia.com's photo of the swatches for the two blushes since my lighting has been off recently, somehow the colour just don't show up on my cameras.

Chanel Summer 2014 Collection review

Hi everyone,
I was in DT Toronto the other day and spotted the brand new release of the Chanel Summer 2014 collection here in Canada!!! Horay!!!! Even though I had my eyes on a few products, but after thinking thorough and testing the products onsite, I only decided to take 2 products home with me. :D

When I read over on temptalia.com, I was amazed by the colour payoff and how all of the colour were earth tone neutral and easy to blend out. But I couldn't decide whether the colour "Mirage" is better or the "New Moon". After testing both of them at the store, I was sold instantly with "New Moon". The colour itself is described as "iridescent copper." But I think it's a lot prettier in real life.

I have always love the Chanel Le Venis, but I have to say their performance are just so-so. They always chip so easily, but yet, I always go back for their cute colours. I also got one of their new released nail polish in Tutti Frutti. It is described as a "soft coral." The colour itself also has very settle gold shimmer in it.

Here I have compared my Formula X for Sephora in "Power Source" with the new Chanel Le Vernis in "Tutti Frutti," I think "Tutti Frutti" is redder and the "Power Source" is pinker.

Formula X for Sephora Nail polish review

Hey guys,
Since I'm really on happy to be back to my blog, here is my next post. I've known the Formula X for Sephora nail polishes since they came out and heard a lot of YouTuber rave about it. But I have never ever tried it before, I finally decided to give it a try and of course, I instantly fell in love with them. I just gotta 3 of them the past two weeks.

MAC × Osbournes Collection reviews

Hi everyone,
It's been a long time, I know. I travelled abroad to China from January to May, and also just graduated from university, I was very busy the last few weeks with deal with the end of the school and starting to look for a job again. Oh, sigh.....well...well...well...While I was out in the world, of course I had to do some shopping!!! When I oversaw the new "MAC*Osbournes" collection on temptalia.com, I was like, oh, yeh, I have to get my hand on these products simply just because they have super adorable package, and also, I haven't really been into much MAC product lately and this was one that really popped into my eyes!!! I shall talk less and get right into the main subject now. Here goes an overview of all of the products.
I had to go into the store really early on the morning of the release simply because the associates at MAC store told me a lot people were asking about this collection weeks before it is released and I knew how popular they're then. :P
First, I'm gonna talk about my favourite product from this line, it's the "Kelly Yum Yum" lipstick.
I'm really sorry about the lighting since this package was quite hard to catch on my pro-camera :(

It is described on the website as "bright blue pink" satin lipsticks. I always loved the original "candy yum yum", and when I saw the package I was like, this is the one, I still have really test this products yet, but I heard this lipstick has the new formula, maybe it would work a lot better than the old MAC lipsticks?? hmm...we will see!!
Then here comes to another two products from this super cute line, the blushes!! I got both Sharon and Kelly's blushes.

Kelly Osbourne Blush:
Kelly's blush was named "cheeky bugger", on the website, it is described as "rosy pink" shade. I got this because I'm currently petty pale, and this shade is perfect for summer. Plus the adorable packaging for collecting, oh, man!!
Sharon Osbourne Blush:
Sharon's blush was named "Peaches and Cream", on the website, it is described as "mid tone peach and rose" shade. I think this shade is perfect for girls with light to medium shade.

Last but not least, the Sharon Osbourne lipgloss in Bijou.

It is described on the website "soft mauvey pink", it looks a lot lighter in real life. I really like the nude look with Sharon and I have alway been really into the nude colour, I thought this would be a great addition to my nude lip colours. All swatches will come up asap. Good night everyone.
