ipsy April bag: Pretty in Pink catching up PART III

Hey everyone:
I am really enjoying doing this. But here is a review of my April ipsy bag. The theme of the bag is 'Pretty in Pink'. I received 4 items in this bag. Here is a picture of the bag.

1. SATION Nail Lacquer in Love at First Byte (Full Size)
ipsy website describes the nail polish as follows:
"Sation Nail Lacquer is a contemporary beauty company, infusing a creative direction in nail care through a blend of lifestyle aesthetics. The collection features 120 colors from its seasonal & limited collections. "

I will upload a picture when I have a chance to change my nail color (FINAL EXAM in progress) =P

2. Two Cosmetics Due Eyeshadow in Heartache (Full Size)
ipsy website describes the eyeshadow as follows:
"Two Cosmetics blush pink duo eyeshadow in Heartache is suited for all skin tones & complexions in two finishes. The shimmer side is fabulous for highlighting the brow bone, tear duct or cheeks. The matte side is great for blending, or for use as a blush and is amazing for an all over the lid color. Paraben free and not tested on animals!"

I am not a huge fan of pink eyeshadows, but it is always good to have it in my makeup collection :)

3. Be a Bombshell Blush in Sweet Cheeks (Full Size)
ipsy website describes the blush as follows:
"A highly pigmented pressed powder blush that highlights the complexion and provides long lasting color. Can be used both as a blush or a bronzer."

This is the most I am excited for. Since I don't have a lot of blush. It is definitely awesome to have another blush in my collection. VERY EXCITED!!!

4. Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Nourishing Styling Treatment
ipsy website describes this product as follows:
"Sexy Hair Soy Renewal is the nourishing styling treatment with multiple benefits! Speeds up blow drying time, nourishes and protects hair, and enhances shine. Made with Moroccan Argan Oil, Soy Renewal addresses moisture, frizz, smoothness, elasticity and shine concerns, while protecting against heat and environmental stresses."

I am excited to try new products especially for my hair. Because I will start straighten my hair in summer again. Definitely an interesting product to try.

I also received this invitation for the Generation Beauty event that is sponsored by ipsy
I am very happy with this month's bag. 3 FULL SIZE PRODUCTS. Gotta say this, GOOD JOB, IPSY!!!!

Hope you all are having a wonderful night.

ipsy March bag: the Great Escape catching up PART II

Hi everyone again:
Here is my March ipsy bag.

1. Juicy Beauty Hydrating Mist
ipsy website describes the mist as follows:
"Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist tones, hydrates, and refreshes your face and hair while on the go, anytime of the day. Hydrate with the refreshing blends of organic juices for a fresh, radiant complexion."

I like the smell of it, but yet I have not used it. I'm still using my Avene Thermal Spring Water. I will try it when summer comes.

2. L.A. Fresh Travel-Lite Makeup Remover Wipes
ispy website describes the wipes as follows:
"La Fresh® Travel Lite® portable towlette wipes are perfect for jetsetters, go-getters, outdoor enthusiasts and multi-taskers everywhere. Towlette packets are small in size, designed for practicality and are easy to apply discreetly. Each item is carry-on friendly and slim enough to slip into a pocket, purse or wallet. Perfectly portable, La Fresh® makes beauty a breeze when you’re on-the-go. For a refreshing getaway, grab any Travel Lite® and Live. Life. La Fresh. "
I tried one of them. Surprising they are petty good. I only use it when I go home since I'm still in school.

3. Glam RX Mini Freestyle Palette
ipsy website describes the palettes as follows:
"The GlamRX Mini Freestyle Palette was made exclusively for ipsy Glam Bag subscribers. The magnetic base is the perfect spot to store pan-only eyeshadows (2 of which are included in this Glam Bag!), blushes & bronzers, or whatever you need for perfect for quick touch ups on the go! Whether you are headed off to spring break or just need a cute & clever way to store products in your bag, you can create the perfect makeup look and take it with you with your exclusive GlamRX Mini Freestyle Palette. "
I like how convenience it is since I can petty much just attach a couple of my MAC or Shu Uemura eyeshadows in here and travel with it. :D

4. YABY Eyeshadow Refill
ipsy website describes the eyeshadows as follows:
"Whether you want to make a dramatic statement or just add a veil of color to your eyes, the yaby eyeshadow refills are extremely easy to work with. Can be used wet or dry and the smooth texture allows blending with ease. All shadows are vegan friendly and the pans are reusable for mixing. Glam Bag subscribers receive two of 80 fabulous shades."
I took it out of the plastic case and put it into the freestyle palette. I like the blue color but not so much the sand/beige color. I will try it when summer comes.

BTW, after seeing so many creative ideas on the ipsy Facebook page, here is what I have done with my ipsy bag from this month.
SUMMER BLING BLING =P

Here you go with my March ipsy bag. Hope you all enjoyed it.

ipsy February Bag: Red Carpet Ready some catching up with my subscription bags/boxes PART I

Hey everyone:
I have been really busy with school since the start of this year! I have taken all of these pictures a long time ago. I just didn't really have time to write reviews on all of them. So here I go then.
For February ipsy bag, I received the following:

1. POP Beauty Smokey Lash Kapow Mascara
ipsy website describes the mascara as following:
"This lash-POP-ing mascara makes lashes plump, long and lusciously flirty! Smudge proof formula adds volume while curling lashes up and out for a look that truly POPs your peepers! "
Here is a closer look at the mascara:

I have not try it since I have so many mascaras, hehe =P but I definitely will try to use it when I travel.

2. Pixi Flawless & Poreless Primer
ipsy website describes the primer as follows:
"The Pixi Flawless & Poreless primer creates a beautiful no-shine finish for flawless, long-lasting makeup application. This shine controlling, oil-free primer smooths out fine lines and hydrates while making pores instantly disappear. It is the perfect skin primer for all complexions and all skin types. "
I have tried it once, it has like a neutral color. It's petty good, but I got to use it a bit more to tell more about it though. BTW, I am so glad Target Canada is carrying both Sonia Kashuk and Pixi brands.

3. Lash Card
ipsy website describes the lash card as follows:
"Apply your mascara perfectly with the Lash Card! Say goodbye to smudging, clumping, and messy mascara application. The Lash Card has two curves on each side that fit a variety of eye shapes, making it easy to get those hard-to-reach lashes. Each Lash Card is individually wrapped for on-the-go application. "

OKAY! no offense to ipsy, but this is definitely something I would never buy and use, I have no problem putting mascara on. I DO NOT normally smug mascara over my lids. :/ I don't like this even though it's a petty good size. OH WELL :/

4. Coastal Scents Sample Shadow Palette
ipsy website describes the shadows as follows:
"Coastal Scents Shadow Palette Samples are an ideal way to try these highly pigmented, stunning shadows. These miniature-sized samples contain four hand-selected shades by ipsy, making it easy to create a variety of looks. Wear these pressed powders dry or wet for a more intense, dramatic look."

I only really like the top left and bottom right ones. But while I was de-potting it from it, almost all of them broke except the bottom left one. SORRY, I lost the plastic jacket with all the name on it.

5. MICA Beauty Gel Eyeliner
ipsy website describes the eyeliner as follows:
"Define eyes and apply eyeliner like a pro with the MicaBeauty Gel Eyeliner! This smooth, highly pigmented gel eyeliner glides over the lid evenly and dries quickly for a long-wearing, smudge-proof finish. Comes in 5 other highly pigmented shades."
I gave this away to my roomie since I have countless gel eyeliners. I'm sure this is a great brand.

Here is a review for the February ipsy bag. Hope you guys enjoyed it :D
