Okay, here is my first review of the week, the new Diorskin Nude BB Creme for their Spring 2013 Cherie Bow collection. To tell you the truth, this is actually my first high-end BB creme I have ever tried (except the Maybelline Fresh BB Cream)? This nicely packaged BB Creme is listed at $44 CAD which is cheaper than the listed price on the Sephora website (I was thrilled). I think it was released very recently, maybe just the past week? To my knowledge, I know this product is carried in Sephora stores. I know that some Shoppers Drug Marts have the rest of the collection (The cherie bow palette, and the the duo end eyeshadows, nail polishes and the lipsticks that are released in this collection). Correct me if I am wrong.
I have been using it twice this week, and I have to say I am very impressed with the pigmentation of this BB cream, it definitely covers some of my hyperpigmentation. I have never used an Asian BB cream before, so this might be the best so far compared to the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. This is less watery than the Maybelline. But much more liquidy than my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. I think it has a very similar consistency compare to the YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat. (CORRECTION: YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat is more liquidy than the Diorskin Nude BB Creme).
Here is a comparison of some of my favorite foundations:
From the top to the bottom
(Shu Uemura Face Architect in 774, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B20,
Diorskin Nude BB Creme in 002 light, YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat in B30)
xoxo,
Monica
